Tricia Saunders is effectively the Dan Gable of U.S. women’s wrestling. She’s a four-time World Champion, five-time medalist (silver in 93). From 1992 - 2000, she only lost once at the World stage, taking breaks in 95, 97, and 2000 for maternity and injury (2000). She still holds the record for most national titles won in U.S. women’s wrestling history and never lost to another American.

Adeline Gray is tied with Jordan Burroughs for the most World titles won by an American wrestler and the most won by any American women’s wrestler. She is the first U.S. wrestler, regardless of gender, to win six World titles.

Helen Maroulis is tied with Gray for most World/Olympic medals won by any American women’s wrestler and she has an Olympic gold (something Gray does not), the first Olympic gold in U.S. women’s history. However, she also has one less World/Olympic title than Gray.

Amit Elor has won six age-level World titles, two Senior World titles, an Olympic gold, and has been undefeated in all of her matches internationally on the Senior level. The last time she lost internationally was before she could even drive.
