Hi everyone,

I'm an MA in Interaction Design student at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Ireland, currently conducting a research project exploring the experiences of people who transitioned into the role of caring for a family member, partner, child, or loved one.

You may not think of yourself as a "family carer," and that's completely okay. If you regularly support someone close to you because of illness, disability, mental health challenges, dementia, addiction, or age-related needs, your experiences are incredibly important, and I would really value hearing from you.

I'm carrying out a short anonymous survey to better understand:

• How people experienced the early stages of caring for a loved one
• What information and support they found helpful (or wish they had received)
• How they navigated healthcare and support services
• Whether support from someone with lived experience would have been valuable

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes, and all responses are anonymous and will be used for academic research purposes only.
