PHGamerPalsPremium: a newly opened sub dedicated for not-so-mainstream gamers

Good day, fellow gamers. There was a discussion that took place just today regarding how Valorant threads (mostly low effort) dominate/flood the same subreddit, so it ends up burying other posts. Now, this may seem like a non-issue on the surface but this has been ongoing for years, no one's speaking up because of the fear of being unheard and causing no changes.

So now, allow me to introduce you to r/PHGamerPalsPremium, it has been made with the intent of giving the gamers who enjoy less mainstream titles to have a dedicated space for them without the risk of their post/s being pushed down to obscurity.

It's a newly built space, so the mods are very open to your ideas and suggestions, not to mention, they would be more than welcoming for you guys to join as well and populate the sub.

Lastly, I hope that no one sparks any form of antagonizing narrative against anyone. We all just want a space where everyone feels comfortable, heard and seen, and I hope this new sub becomes the very space you've always been looking for.

Cheers and godspeed to all.

These Valorant posts are slops that flood the sub and I'm tired of pretending it isn't

For every 1 non-Valorant game thread there are 5 Valorant threads that pop up, posted by the same set of people. That 1:5 ratio makes this PHValoPals and sure you can tell me "☝️🤓 actually Valorant players are also gamers" womp womp, but that doesn't take away the fact that they flood a sub dedicated for ALL kinds of gamers. And I'm sure it's been this way for years, still ever-growing, due to more people getting access to devices that easily run the game.

The most laughable part? They post minutes apart from each other, so why wouldn't they just check the sub first before posting? Or do they recognize each other and so they avoid? I would never know the answer.

But let me ask the moderators of this space, is everyone else the problem for finding this slop unbearable? Would it be possible to just make a daily/weekly megathread dedicated for Valorant invites? To think that they already have countless discord servers and communities dedicated for the game, and they still all jump to this sub for reasons I am yet to understand. These Valorant posts are slops that flood the sub and I'm tired of pretending it isn't, maybe a change is unnecessary, I wouldn't know, but something to improve the quality of a space people actually use, I believe, is needed.

Thank you.

Edit 1: oh guys and would you look at that, a moderator actually replied! Also, funnily enough the posts after mine are non-Valo, LULE.

Edit 2: I'm not gonna reply to this guy anymore, they are "willing" to hear out people's sentiments and read through the comments, but then making a megathreads is apparently "not a solution either", so welp, that's it friends, no changes again. The slop remains victorious. They must be following one of the suggestions here to make new flairs, but I don't know man, what's the use of the age and availability flairs then? I guess they aren't thinking of that one, but just a shortcut to ease their j*b of moderation. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined. Cheers to all of you who cared and shared your inputs. Someday we'll witness PHGamerPals live up to its name, but for now, it remains PHValoPals.
