I will never learn my lesson…

So I see a cute pair of Zadig and Voltaire lounge pants that appear to be made of legging/stretch material. They are listed as size 34”. I assume this listing is the measurement from laying flat, un-stretched. These pants are about 12” measured flat. They barely have any stretch although there is an elastic band inside as well as crimping on the waistband. I’m just confused. I thought they’d fit my XL bottom and was so excited to get them. I have had very few issues with ThredUp, but I have the feeling this is the start of a pattern from reading this thread! Anyone want a pair of really cute small pants with NO stretch?

ThredUp, please hire me!

I’m a perfect fit for your position in deciding what a piece of clothing is! I already know that every sweater is a cardigan and every cardigan is a kimono! Seriously people, I lost a picture I took of a crop top labeled as a dress. I wanted to buy it and wear it until someone reported me and then show them the advertisement… ‘ but officer it clearly says this is a dress in the photo!’. Does this drive anyone else insane? How hard is it to label a piece of clothing? Do the people they hire for this job have a clear understanding of the English language? I haven’t seen any sweaters labeled jumpers, so we know it’s not the English!
