2016 SXT hitch cargo carrier advice

I have a 2016 SXT with 145k and need to drive 1400 miles to Miami in a few days. I will have a fully loaded van (solo driver, seats in the floor, and maxed cargo due leftovers from a moving truck), and I was planning on a cargo carrier. I have not driven with a hitch before but can get one installed this weekend. Is this doable for this vehicle, this route, and a good driver (but I have never driven with anything hitched before!). I know a cargo carrier is totally different than pulling a trailer, but still...

My main area of concern for the vehicle with the weight and cargo carrier is southern Tennessee approaching the Alabama/Georgia line (between Monteagle and Chattanooga). There are some long inclines those with emergency truck runoffs. I've driven that route with a van full of people and stuff, but not like this.

Cargo carrier: I was looking at this one from Lowe's that is 60"x24" or maybe something on FB Marketplace.

Oh and last month, I discovered that the radiator was cracked and transmission cooler lines were leaking, so all of that was just replaced in April.

Thoughts on all of this? Thank you so much!

How do you self-extract?

I have read a bunch of posts, but I don't understand the basic process of cutting into it. I understand that the goal is to get the core and that there will be blood. But... how do you cut into it? This seems like such a stupid question, but thank you for any help!

3.5 weeks to self-treat before derm visit. What would you do?

The title says it. There are maybe 10-15 currently in a few places on my body. It started with one maybe 6 months ago. Some have popped on their own and healed up, but some have been around most of that time.

I'm kind of afraid to cut them / extract the core, but I'm ready to do it bc I'm so sick of it. And not thrilled with the idea of a derm having to treat them in that area either.

So with 3.5 weeks until the derm appt (a doc new to me), what would you do now?

Effect of subbing ReString Zero for HyperG Soft? (Hybrid with Diadem Evolution)

I'm coming off a 2.5 month injury rehab and need to restring. I've been using a hybrid of Hyper G Soft in the mains with Diadem Evolution (17g for both). I had picked up some ReString Zero (17g) just before the injury -- just wanting to play around with a different setup. So has anyone subbed Zero for Hyper G Soft? I'm wondering if this is a good move now and what the difference will be. Wouldn't mind some more spin, but arm friendly is a priority too.

For background: I used to use a multi hybrid setup but was breaking strings within days. I know multi would be arm friendly, but I need more durability than that. So I string this with a low tension, like 45-47.

Recovering from a lingering hand/wrist injury (from a fall, not from technique, lol).
