So far I just have a handheld transceiver, a Wouxun KG-UV9D which was given to me as a gift. I'd like to get an actual base station and was looking for tips on what would be a good one to get started with that isn't too expensive. I'm disabled and don't have a large budget.
I'm well into my first Utopia playthrough on Frostpunk 2. I noticed that each time I load the game the generator in the city and the furnaces in my outposts resets to their lowest heat setting, as do some of the buildings. Is this a bug, or is there something I'm missing? It's not a resource issue, I've got massive stockpiles of coal and oil. Right before I save all of the buildings are at "Warm", but when I load the game half of them are either "Chilly" or "Freezing".
I'm getting ready to take the exam to get my Technician Class operator license. On the website listing the locations for exams I noticed each location said it was sponsored by different organizations. So the exams are administered by other ham operators that are part of radio clubs on behalf of the FCC? Just curious to learn how it all works.
