To Add Cheek Fluff or Not?

Hey I'm making this cheetah with airplane ears and I'm deciding whether to add some cheek fluff to him or not. Since the flow of the suit is leaning more towards the back(think of a dog hanging its head out of a car window, all the fur goes towards the back of the head) I think having normal cheek fluff that comes out and more forward to the person looking at the suit might look a little strange if you have the cheek fluff sitting more flat. Although I also think that having no cheek fluff might make the head look a little 'naked'.
I'm thinking I either add some foam for the cheek fluff to sit on but angled towards the back, similar to the angle of the ears, or I could leave long fur on the cheeks and hope that will help convey the 'motion' of the suit.
I have the idea of where the flow of the head should be going but it's hard to put into words haha. Recent Alpha Lynics fursuit head attached to show that cheek fluff that sits flatter than how I'd like.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
