Hands on jobs that don't require more paid education in Hawaii (Honolulu)?

Aloha guys

I'm a 22 year old male looking for a career change I studied psychology in college and currently work full time in the DOE, I'm so burnt out. I love cars and I'm interested in learning how to fix cars. But I never done anything more than an oil change. Alot of people are saying car mechanic isn't worth it due to hard work and low pay. I'm open to any job that in more hands on. Is there anywhere on Oahu where I can learn a trade without getting more in debt?

Thinking of moving back, how to begin process?

My parents moved to the US from Ireland when I was 15, so I have never worked in Ireland, though I am an Irish-born citizen. I finish my Master's in Behavior Analysis at the end of this year and I'm thinking about moving back to Ireland after I graduate. I return home one or twice a year and I miss it alot. I have cousins and family there but no one I am close enough with to move in with. I understand that it is a terrible time to move as there is no jobs or avalible housing. But how would I begin the process of moving if I were to? Mostly housing and looking for a job aboard seems to be a nightmare.
