Is it possible to transfer a joint property only in one of the co-owner's name?
We own a property in my & my father's name. Though my in bank records, my name is mentioned as an Applicant in and father's as co-applicant, most of the down payment money was from parents' savings.
Flat cost us around ₹1.45cr and ₹90 lacs was the down payment. Out of these 90 lacs, ₹30 lacs were contributed by me & wife (15 lacs each) whereas ₹60 lacs by parents.
Now I wish to transfer this property in the name of my father as the sole owner. is it possible to do so even if he's not earning? I can payoff the loan as per current setup.
