Hi, for context, may nag circulate online here in Cebu that she was raped by her "friend" sa kanilang bahay and that she called him out on social media. I shared the post with a caption stating that X (first name) did this to me and I was also drunk. This happened way back 2020 and it took a lot of mental toll on me at the time. I had to undergo psychiatric treatment and one of the factor of it was the rape.
Now, this X commented on my post saying that "I wanted it and I asked for it. And kunin ko na daw ulit yung PWD ID ko sa DSWD kesa gumawa daw ako ng kwento"
My friend replied to the comment with statements such as, "your mother is a btich and did not raise you well" and that "you should go back to your mother's pussy"
Typical na trashtalkan.
Now, X's mother wants to file a cyber libel case regarding my friend's comment. What should we do?
PS: I did not file a case on this since I was really struggling at the time and I was 16 when it happened. When I asked my mom to file a case few months after it happened, sabi niya na magastos daw and it will get me nowhere. I don't have any medicolegal when it happened. Only journal and timeline when and where it happened. I don't know my rights, and so does my friend's rights. I need advice.
