Best Campsites nature wise in the lower peninsula, no rustic please (we are lame).

Been living and camping in Michigan all my life but have only been going to a handful of the same spots over the years (Platte River, Brimley, Tahquamenon, Indian lake). Wanted to take a trip in the lower peninsula with friends early this fall and go somewhere I haven’t been.
Non rustic only please we are lame city folk.
Would be nice if there are fun/pretty trails/terrain and some water for swimming nearby, and would be ideal if it’s in the lower half of the LP but open to driving a bit more northward.
Big bonus points if it’s mostly tent camping
Any recommendations?
