Advice Needed: Cat Sitter vs. Staying at Family’s House for 5-Night Trip
Hi everyone!
I’m a new cat owner looking for advice. I recently adopted a 1.5-year-old outdoor stray who has been adjusting really well indoors—she’s eating well and consistently using her litter box.
I’ll be out of town for 5 nights and am deciding between hiring a cat sitter to visit twice a day (morning and evening, about 2 hours total) or having her stay at my brother’s house. He lives about 40 minutes away and isn’t available to stay at my house, so I’m also considering the car ride and adjustment to a new environment.
Which option do you think would be less stressful for her? I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thank you!
