I need help
I honestly don’t know what to do and I’m starting to crumble. I wanted to go to uci for economics but unfortunately didn’t get in so the plan was to hit a community college next to me (OCC) and then possible get into uci that way. The problem is that I wish to go with economics and they are removing that for tag now. So the plan was to skip a year (my ap credits would allow me to do this) with my ap classes that I took so I could get in before they did the removal of the classes from TAG but that won’t work anymore since I just found out that they are taking it away for 2027 as well. I want to become a lawyer in the future and was looking at majors I could take instead and saw philosophy so I wanted to take that the problem is that it’s safe to say that English is my worse subject as I struggled in ap lit and ap lang got a B in both. I was thinking I could also minor in economics but I don’t know what to do anymore and if I’ll get a bad gpa because I’m taking something I am not good at and that will lead to a lot of law schools rejecting me so I really don’t know what to do. Btw I want to go to uci for a variety of reasons and I know going to a different college might be better but I wish there was any way I could work this out. Maybe the community college next to Irvine could work out and try to get in with economics? I think it’s too much of a gamble. Thanks again 🙏
