Hello! I’m a new student starting my vet med journey in 2026.

I’ve been trying to source for channels to buy used student items such as suture kits, scrubs, etc. I was introduced to Dick Buy & Sell on Facebook but it seems like the owners are not active & hasn’t been approving new members in. I haven’t been able to get in even though I’ve requested some time back.

Coming from a student who is struggling financially, are there any channels such as Facebook groups or tele channels which you can list down for me to check out?

Whether it’s vet equipment or household items, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I’ve an Alienware m15 r5 Ryzen edition. Here are the specs:

• Graphics Card: 6GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU + AMD Radeon Graphics
• Storage: 477GB SSD
• System Type: 64-bit

I originally bought this laptop with the intention of getting into gaming, but I ended up barely gaming on it. It has never been put through heavy gaming sessions and has mainly been used for school work mostly PDFs, Word documents, and general browsing.

The laptop is still in very lightly used condition. I’m trying selling it because I’m planning to switch to a lighter student laptop that’s easier to carry around daily.

Ive heard very mixed reviews with this product & as someone who doesn’t know much about laptops, I was hoping the Alienware community could shed some light on how much I should sell it for as I dont want to get lowballed.

as I barely used it & its hard to carry around, it stays on my desk most of the time. Personally, I didn’t enjoy using this product, I thought the support was rather poor. I have issues with 2 main things

1. Unable to adjust screen brightness - I reached out to tech support but they haven’t been able to diagnose or solve this issue for me. The only way to adjust the brightness is to adjust the bar & then restarting the laptop for the preferred brightness to be applied. It doesn’t cause me much issue since I don’t have to change my brightness daily but it definitely is annoying.

2. Button 3, e, d, c malfunction - it would sometimes work and sometimes not, it really depends on my luck that day. Luckily, I use my external keyboard which connects to my monitor. But if I’ve to bring my laptop somewhere & use the laptop independently, it’s crazy annoying.

Hello, I’m only given these 2 options, I tried googling but there weren’t much info or reviews. Hoping to get some insights from current students since school accommodation team isn’t responding & I’m panicking since I’ve to make a decision soon.

I also prefer quieter areas, and am studying vet med, they didn’t say where my campus will be but a quick google search shows me both places are about 10-12km away.

Does anybody know if there’s a difference paying in lump sum and paying annually? Are there any cancellation fee I should be aware of?
