We have a Nissan Almera 1.5(2017). Lately the car had been making noises when sharp turns or going through bumpy roads. Our authorized mechanic suggested to replace the steering rack which cost about 3k++. So I’m wondering does anyone here had their steering rack replace but with much cheaper cost? When I searched for the spare part online, it cost less than 3k.
