What happened to the Qantas a330 refurbishments?

it was supposed to start in 2025, then got pushed back to Feb 2026. now we are almost in June and there has been absolutely nothing.

is it still happening ?

Anybody else hate people who do this

id love to see a world in Melbourne where people would politely wait to the side, allow people to exit the train first and then board.

unfortunately instead, people will block the door and barge their way on without letting people off.

can we change this

State library ageing poorly

anybody know what’s going on with state library? so many sections boarded off and already flaking away. plus the exposed concrete design not doing it justice

Was it a missed opportunity to not build the Fitzroy metro tunnel 2 station on this site

for those who don’t know, development Victoria are building high density apartments on the Fitzroy gas works site. the only issue is Alexander parade/ Fitzroy is already at breaking point with car traffic.

would it of been ideal to build the MM2 along side this project and implement an underground station ?

How would the eventual metro tunnel 2 interchange at Parkville work

parkville has provisions for a future platform for the metro tunnel 2. but just curious how the interchange would work? would they be able to connect both platforms within the paid area?

after almost every single game I read comments blaming the free kicks for soul the reason their team lost the game. Instead of holding the team accountable. it’s getting ridiculous.

blaming A few 50/50 umpiring calls that didn’t go your teams way is not the reason they lost a 120 minute game of footy.

sure umpires have influence, but after every single game it just becomes losers mentality

sort of been out of the loop, but why can’t they start building the section between sunshine and the airport so by the time the stage 1 is complete the full project is almost finished?

obviously besides the extreme cost. Doncaster to airport via CBD would literally cure so many of our major suburbs unserved by trains eg Doncaster, highpoint/maribynong Balwyn whilst serving the CBD and Melbourne airport
