Headed towards the Church of the Good Shepherd this time. Very low lake - I guess these are the remains of the old homestead

SUP lake Wakatipu spots
Visiting Queenstown and my 13 yo and I would like to get an early morning paddle out on the lake. Partner has found a beach at kelvin heights - decent place to launch? Or somewhere better?
Looking just paddle along for about 30-45 minutes then return.
