In Ghent, Belgium for a work week + weekend, please give tips to maximise my time!

Hello everyone! I will be travelling to Ghent, Belgium for 1 week for some client workshops, I will reach on 10th Oct (saturday afternoon) and fly back on 17th oct (saturday evening). The weekdays will be spent working (although I may get some time during the evenings). I do have 2 half days and 1 full sunday to spend in/around Ghent.

I was looking for some suggestions and what all I can do in this limited time. Its my first time in Belgium too, so was thinking I can go to Brussels for a day trip, but not sure if it'll be worth it. I have heard so much about Bruge too, but again due to lack of time I dont know if its possible to actually go. Am I trying to fit too much into very little time ?

Long story short, I would love some suggestions on things I can do in Ghent (any must visits etc). I am into touristy things and open to any tours as well if worth it. Looking at a moderate budget (nothing too extravagant), and any vegetarian food spots!

I am looking to get the best Belgian experience I can get in this limited time 🙈

Thankyou very much for any suggestions!!

PS - Also adding I'm a female and will be alone, in case that's a consideration for any recommendation

Worried I got spoiled colours (Ohuhu pastels set 96 markers)

Hello everyone, I just recieved my set of 96 pastels from Ohuhu (Honululu B), attaching the swatches picture above. I had ordered it from Amazon.

So my question is, are the colours supposed to look this way (especially the pink ones in the top swatch card), some of them look really dark/fluorescent rather than pastel. And all pastel swatch pics I saw online were 1 year old or older, so couldnt get any recent reference to compare.

I am worried maybe some marker pigments are spoiled, I really dont know. If anyone here has recently bought the pastels set, can you please help me out ?

Thanks a lot!

I am trying to buy bus tickets for next week that take us up to the Machu Pichu site entrance and back down from their official website, but I'm not able to. I fill all the details and reach the last step of selecting date, but when I select my date (2nd May) it says invalid date and doesnt let me book.

Anyone facing the same issue ? Or has anyone been able to successfully buy the bus tickets ?

Hello everyone, I am going to visit Machu Pichu next week, and apart from that I have 1 day in Cusco to spend on seeing the Sacred Valley. There is a tour on Viator which is covering Maras, Moray, Chinchero, and Ollantaytambo in a 12 hour long 1 day tour, and also includes buffet lunch in Urubamba. They say we will be in each site for around 1 hour. My question is, is this a good tour to take ? Will it actually be possible to see and absorb all the 4 sites in such a short time ? The tour cost is around $140 per person (which is steep and does not include entry fee to the sites, bit if worth it I dont mind paying for the convenience).

My problem is that I just have 1 day and dont want to miss out on Sacred Valley, and this tour seems to cover all the major sites very efficiently, and give me all the famous photo ops where needed. I dont know when or if I'll visit Peru again, and want to see everything I can in my limited time.

If anyone here has taken a similar tour, or has experience in visiting Sacred Valley and has any inputs on this tour, please do let me know!

Thanks a lot!

PS - Attaching the actual itinerary in case someone has enough time/patience to go through it and advice!
