Hey everyone! We are so beyond grateful for everyone’s donations and help! Bear had surgery today he ended up having 8 teeth removed and we found out the infection in his bottom jaw was so bad it had eaten away half of the jaw, his vet said for now we will keep an eye on it their main worry was breaking his jaw while removing the teeth but it all went well! Bear will go back in 2 weeks for more antibiotics and so they can check his mouth to make sure everything’s healing well, now time to rest the next couple of days!

Hey all! I’m looking to get a little help for my Rescue Chiweenie Bear! A few may have seen my posts about this but I figured I’d get on here and explain the situation a little better, about 3 weeks ago I rescued Bear from a dog hoarding situation. His previous owner had around 13 chihuahuas, dachshunds, and chiweenies. She had passed away and her family had to find all of the dogs homes, most had not ever had any outside human interaction some had issues from over breeding and inbreeding, some had skin issues along with a few other issues. From what I had been told none had probably ever seen the vet! So obviously I immediately took bear in for shots and a check up during that I had mentioned his teeth weren’t in the best condition and when they checked they said he has a few very broken rotten teeth and one has plastic lodged between the gum and his tooth so they have to surgically remove that and the teeth that are too badly rotten, he also had a yeast infection on his back so we got that taken care of but originally Bear was scheduled for June 15th to have surgery but his gums are getting very badly infected so we had to bump it to Monday May 18th and with it being so soon we are trying anyway to get the money together for him and still be able to provide aftercare. We had a baby in February so that’s why our money is a little tight and we have tried care credit and applied for different pet credits but for some reason are not being approved for any. If anyone can find it in their heart even 5$ or a share means more than you know! We love bear so much already and would hate to have to surrender him if we can’t get the rest of the money together. Hey everyone! So unfortunately we had to call bears vet today, his teeth are really starting to bother him and they’re very dark red around them and he’s going to have to go in to be seen sooner. The vet called back and he has to come in Friday for medicine and pre-op bloodwork and they moved his surgery to Monday! If anyone can find it in their heart to donate we would appreciate it more than you know!! We’re doing our best to keep Bear comfy until we get him in. This is Bear he’s about 6-7 years old! He came from a really rough situation and did not receive the proper care he needed in his previous home, due to that he has a few rotten, broken, loose teeth that urgently need removed because there causing him to have infection in his gums. Anything and everything helps even if you just share the link to your social media it means so much. We love this little guy to death already and just want to give him a pain free happy life.
