Old bark moss

Hi all, I was looking into getting some ways to get moss in my bogs online for the past few days. While wiring outside, I went where I have a really old wood stack and there is moss all over it. I took some off but the bark came with it.

Do you guys think it would be suitable for my bogs and if so, then how would I go about it.

Vacation Solution To Watering

I present you my self-watering, 4 inch nursuring pot bog. 3d printed in PETG. Fits 6 4inch nursuring pot, featuring a 64oz mason jar and a neoprene cover to try and prevent too much algae growth in the jar and an overflow hole to prevent overfilling in case of heavy rain.

Level stays at a perfect 1inch. I don’t have a multicolor printer, but I would have loved to print the float in green and red, no more green showing, only red, mason jar is empty. I just finished it, I don’t know how long I will be able to go between filling, but at least, I don’t panic if I forgot to water them before going to work and risking drying them up.

Ngl, I’m pretty proud of this one!

Side note, my cap sundew is shooting like 5 flower stems, I will be drowning in seeds. I may go and cut the new ones as I think the two almost ready one will be far more than enough!

Can carnivorous plants be overfed?

Hi everyone, it seems like there’s a nursing place for fly nearby and my carnivorous plants are stormed by baby flies.

It’s really nice to see them all stuck to the drosera, every trap closed and pitchers full of them, but I wonder if that may be too much.

Maybe I should bring them inside under grow lights for a couple days to give them ether time to digest all those fly and recover?

Silver poplar dying?

I’m in south Quebec, Canada. Bought this house 6 years ago with a beautiful silver poplar that looked really healthy. Each year, I prune a couple branches here and there.

But as the years passes, I find that I need to remove more and more. I’m wondering if it is infected with a disease or it’s just normal. The upper branches looks healthy, but all the lower ones seems to be dying, with very little buds.

Should I worry? Or just prune all the lower branches and hope for the best.
