Bangkok and Pattaya right now? How bad is the weather?
Hey guys, we’re currently in Chiang Mai and thinking about heading down to Bangkok and maybe spending a few days in Pattaya as well.
We were in Bangkok about two weeks ago and the flooding was pretty bad, with water everywhere in some areas. Now the forecast doesn’t look too promising either, so we’re a bit unsure whether it’s worth going to Pattaya or not.
For those who are there right now, how bad is it actually? Is it raining most of the day or just having a few heavy showers here and there? And what about the flooding in Bangkok, has it improved?
We’re also wondering if Pattaya is worth visiting at the moment. Can you still enjoy the beach and go swimming, or is the weather and sea too rough? We’re travelling with our young daughter, so we’d rather not spend several days stuck inside because of the rain.
We don’t need perfect sunshine every day, just decent enough weather to get out, eat, walk around and enjoy ourselves.
Would you go to Pattaya for a few days right now, or just stay in Bangkok?
