need help understanding property management industry
Trying to understand how property managers actually run the business, from the people who'd know
I do software work, and over the past year a bunch of the people who've come to me have turned out to be in property management and other housing professions. I've worked closely with one larger property manager's operation, but one company isn't enough to really understand an industry, and I don't want to assume I get it when I don't.
I am looking to solve problems which helps either
- save money
- make money
- enhance the user experience
If you can share anything that can help me understand this business better, that would be great. Also if anyone feels like this industry is very resistant to tech and it would be a bad decision to jump in, please feel free to share as well.
