I was refused F1 visa on May 5th 2026 and I’m filling out a new DS-160, how should I mention the refusal?
Just that I was refused or should I specify since they would know about it anyways.
Also, maybe my confidence was low or the answers were not correct how should I phrase this while my DS-160 remains unchanged.

Edit- I know that it is too soon to reapply or fill the form.
I just want to know how to phrase this rejection.

My F1 visa got rejected today for UIUC, gave a 214(b) slip. How early can I apply again?
I’ve heard that the waiting for refusal slots is over 10 months. But on the contrary, I’ve agents saying they can get me a slot within 2 months. What should i believe. Can anyone guide me on this entire process?

Questions-Why UIUC, Funding.
I mentioned 2x the amount on my I-20 and did not mention any generic stuff like opportunities, industry, etc.
