Hello,

Looking to visit Jamaica for the first time in February. We are looking for a non-resort, non-AI, place to stay. I've been eyeing some Airbnbs near Rick's Cafe, but I'm not sure if it's the right place for us.

• Not renting a car (or at least not planning on it...unless needed)
• Like to swim, cliff dive, snorkel, relax.
• Looking for good food but not fancy. Thinking beach bars, roadside stands, local places.
• Love a good bar...again...the less fancy the better. Music and dancing is a plus.

I am slightly worried that although the Cliffs area seems wonderful...it might not have enough food/bars within walking distance. The Airbnb hosts said that they have a driver that can take us to 7 Mile Beach, if wanted, which should be great to get some beach swimming and time in.

Should I be looking for a place on 7 Mile Beach so that we have access to more...or will we find plenty in the Cliffs area? We are fine going to the same place...if the food and beer is good...repeatedly.
