Windscreen has crack that had been previously repaired

I bought a vehicle on hire purchase on 14th September 2026 and within 30 days I noticed a crack on the windscreen. The vehicle appears to have been supplied with pre-existing windscreen damage that had already undergone a repair before sale. I've mentioned to the finance lender and the dealership that I exercised my short-term right to reject the vehicle. The dealership have supposedly given me 2 options which is to repair or swap the vehicle. But they want to repair first if I can swap straight away then I’ll do that of cours.
