Interview prep suggestions

With the match season coming nearby, I'm on my personal statement and ERAS CV right now, but I'm really scared about the interview prep as it is my first time applying for the match. So do you guys recommend using any resources or any courses/websites to help with the interview skills? I did come across Manik Madan and Sofia on Instagram, but I don't think they are really reliable. So, any advice from you guys is appreciated. (We did form a group to do interview with each other but the thing is I genuinely think I lack the basics of interview-so any advice on how to cover the basics of interview or the don’ts of interview is appreciated)

USCE importance in ERAS application

Hi guys, I attended a live webinar by Manik Madaan today. He mentioned in his webinar that a lot of things are deducted (or added) from step-2 score to get a final score estimate. So, they mentioned that out of 4 USCE if you don’t attend any of them, then you are getting huge minus points. So, how do I make sure the application review team knows I did my 4 USCE - is it via the LORs or is it via the most meaningful experiences section (should I mention about all USCE in one heading as I have other things to talk about). The point is to make sure they know we did 4 USCE
-And they told me that a home country LOR/clinical experience has no significance. So, should I consider uploading a letter from my department chair (It would take up one of the LOR slots)
-Anyone who’s on the otherside (PD or application review team), please help me resolve this confusion

Need help with personal statement (the why US question)

I am confused if I gotta answer the why US question in personal statement (non-US IMG). I have another paragraph that talks about research in my personal statement that kind of goes together with my narrative but I would also mention in it in the scholarly work. But I don’t wanna miss out on mentioning why US as it would definitely generate a topic of discussion in my interview but I am not able the brainstorm enough ideas for the PS. So, what thoughts or ideas did you guys use to answer the why US question (Please also tell me the advantages and disadvantages of using it)

Looking for a roommate (medical district area)

Hi guys. I am an IMG and found a nice place for stay in the health district (for the month of July). So I would be rotating in the hematology department, Umiami. The commute from the apartment to Umiami is just 10 minutes. Amenities include one private bathroom, kitchen and also washing machine, dryer. I am looking for a male roommate to share the room with, for a very reliable cost of 850 dollars. Dm me if you are interested

CCS cases account purchase

Hey I am looking for company to purchase CCS qbank. It’s the same collection of cases (we won’t have any problem with resets-the only thing is we gotta divide the timing between us). I met a group of 5 that are doing this but their account is ending this month. Let me know if you any of you are interested in purchasing it together
