NFLD! I love this thing. Thank you for helping me build it.

I received my Brass T4, with 519A in 3500k.

It’s such a pleasing object. I was expecting a “nice flashlight,” but this feels completely different than what I thought a premium light would be.
I find myself pulling it out of my pocket just to hold.
The beam, tint, and overall feel are just incredibly satisfying. I’m honestly blown away.
Already have my next few lights picked out… this is going to be a problem…but I’m open to suggestions if anyone has setups worth trying.

Looking for an entry level light saber?

I’m pretty new to flashlights as a whole (you all helped me spec out my Convoy T4 a few weeks ago (its in the mail...post to come)) and I’ve kind of fallen into the rabbit hole of LEPs and extreme throwers.

What I want is something with that almost unreal “lightsaber” beam. Super tight, super focused, and just visually impressive. The Thor 2 comes up a lot in those searches, but they're a little pricier than I want, and honestly, hard to find in stock.

I don’t really know the right terminology yet, and I’m realizing I might be mixing up LEPs vs very tight LED throwers, so I’m hoping you all can point me in the right direction. Is there something from somewhere like Convoy that I can get 90% of the effect I want for less money than a Thor 2?

I’m also not opposed to a bit of tinkering if it's needed to make what I want, I'm just not familiar with what platforms or models are worth starting with or what the usual entry points are.

Appreciate any guidance you can give. There’s a lot of info out there and I’m still trying to figure out what actually matters, and what everything means.
