Hi everyone,

I recently received my Capgemini pre-offer verification email, and my joining date is 16 July 2026.

I'm joining as a fresher through campus placement and have never worked before, so I don't have a UAN.

Capgemini has asked me to upload:

• Highest degree marksheets
• e-Aadhaar
• PAN
• Passport-size photo
• UAN card (current month with KYC = Yes)

My final M.Tech marksheet and Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) are still pending because my university hasn't released them yet. However, Capgemini has provided an undertaking allowing me to submit the pending educational documents within 60 days of joining.

I have a few questions:

1. As a fresher with no previous employment, do I need to create a UAN myself, or will Capgemini generate one after I join?
2. If you joined Capgemini as a fresher without a UAN, what did you do during the pre-offer verification process?
3. Has anyone joined with their final marksheet/PDC pending and submitted them later under the 60-day undertaking? Did you face any issues?

I received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Capgemini in January 2026. I accepted the LOI and uploaded all the required documents. I'm currently waiting for my joining.

Recently, I realized that while filling out the Superset application, I accidentally selected "No" for the education gap question.

My actual timeline:
• BE completed: August 2023
• M.Tech joined: December 2024
• Gap: Around 1 year and 4 months

Capgemini has all my academic documents, and no one has contacted me about this issue so far.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Does Capgemini verify the education gap during background verification or onboarding? Could this mistake affect my joining, or would they simply ask for an explanation if needed?

Any insights from people who have gone through Capgemini hiring would be greatly appreciated.
