What are some suggested basic items

Any suggestions for must have items to get started fostering? Our age range to start off will be 0-12. We don’t want to over buy but also don’t want to be completely unprepared. Any suggested must haves?

Dog Ear Issue

my dogs ear developed this weird rash today. he’s not itching but it’s thick and it’s not a scab. not sure how else to explain but does anyone know what this might be?
