Hey there! I (F25) recently have had to get a couple internal ultrasounds done on my uterus and fallopian tubes. My question is, when getting one of these types of ultrasound done does the tech usually allow you to insert the “wand” (for lack of better words) yourself or do they do it themselves?
I’ve had a child and I am a 25 year old who’s dealt with ovarian cysts for years, so I’ve had a few of these done in my life. Typically I’ve been allowed/offered to insert it on my own but one of the last times I had a tech do it themselves with out even offering so I was just wondering if it’s just preference of the tech or what.
