Level 2 - should I bother doing a comsae?

I have only done the school comsae and got 542 on it. That was about 4 weeks ago. My test is in 4 days.

That score 5 weeks out sounds good but my NBME scores for step 2 have been mid as hell, in the 230s mainly (step 2 is in 11 days for me). So I'm worried that I haven't actually improved much at all.

Should I bother doing another comsae? Last year for level 1 I felt that the comsaes were significantly easier than the actual test and deeply regretted buying every single one of them. I didn't learn much from them anyway, and only used them to predict where my score would be.

I'm honestly afraid that the 542 was a fluke and that if I take another comsae I will do bad on it and just really ruin the last of my confidence right before my test. My 230s plateau in NBME has already brought me down quite a lot and I'm terrified I will destroy whatever remaining self-esteem I have.

Huge drop in score 1.5 weeks out and now I'm freaking out :(

Freaking out right now. My scores:

NBME 11 - 216 (6 weeks out)

NBME 12 - 230

NBME 13 - 234

NBME 14 - 240

NBME 15 - 237

NBME 16 - 229?!?!

CMS average - 77%

Amboss predicted - 243

Completed uworld.

I felt somewhat confident going in but now I feel absolutely horrible. I want to curl up and cry and do nothing ever again. I don't know what's wrong with me. Should I push??

Kangaroo meat trending in r/mildlyinteresting

Like really? People just be eating anything.

The small upside is that they are not factory farmed but honestly I don't want something like this becoming popular because then it will be factory farmed.

People's excuses are that they're "overpopulating" the land and farming them is to control their population levels. Wanna know what other species is "overpopulating?" HUMANS. We have ZERO right to dictate which animal populations to control.

edit: seems like there's some confusion. I'm not implying that kangaroo meat is a NEW thing. I have no doubt it has been around for centuries. I just made this post because it's not something I ever considered to be sold at a grocery store.

Why is humanity just collectively ok with all the cruelty??? I was just reading another thread about how awful the sounds of a slaughterhouse is and how distressed those animals are. Everyone in the comments was agreeing that it's horrific and disgusting.

SO THEN WHY DO PEOPLE CONTINUE TO LET IT HAPPEN!!!! Why do they agree that it's bad, it's unethical, it's literally TORTURE on such a massive scale that no genocide in human history could even begin to compete with it. But then they just move along their day.

I'm so heartbroken. Everyday I get a little more heartbroken. When the topic of meat comes up I immediately check out of the conversation because I simply cannot bear to even hear it. Everything hurts and I wish I had the power to fix it.

I'm also losing my empathy for humanity. Whenever I hear something bad happening to humans I no longer feel anything. All I can think is "well none of these people give 2 shits about all the animals they kill so why should I care." I know this is bad but I'm just so over it all.
