Anyone Know More About The City Council Member Helping Kirkers and Getting Rich While Doing It?

Anyone Know More About The City Council Member Helping Kirkers and Getting Rich While Doing It?

Sumner owns SynTier Engineering, which is the engineer of record on the proposed Edington Subdivision — a 235-acre annexation, rezone, and 130-lot plat on West Palouse River Drive. The land is owned by Andrew Crapuchettes through A&E LLC (Crapuchettes is the ex-Emsi/Lightcast CEO, RedBalloon founder, and a prominent Christ Church–aligned figure).

The conflict: Sumner sits on the council that votes on annexation, rezoning, water/sewer extension, and area-of-impact decisions affecting that exact project — while his private firm gets paid by the developer.

Any vote he casts on Edington without a written recusal is a textbook municipal conflict of interest under Idaho Code § 74-403.

Looking Non Religious CoOp Homeschool

My kids go to a co-op and someone came up to me and said they were thankful for this particular co-op for homeschool kids because she was searching far and wide for a co-op that isn't religious and it made me think, " Why is that?"

Is it because religious people care more about their kids?

Is it because left leaning, non religious people are selfish and only look for things others provide because they're so incompetent?

Is it because religious people are more open to allowing non-religious people in their group but not the other way around?

What's the deal?
