The State Department’s New Recruiting Contractor Wants More Christian Diplomats – Mother Jones

Dug's money bitch Andrew is now tasked with replacing the State Departments diplomatic core. I wonder which college grads will be prioritized?

4th of July, top of grade?

It’s my family’s first year here for the 4th and I thought we might drive over to the lookout at the top of the hill above Lewiston to try and watch fireworks.

Has anybody done that? Exciting enough for a 5 and 8 year old?

Don’t worry, we won’t be lighting any of our own!

How Pete Hegseth’s spiritual adviser views Latter-day Saints

Dug makes the Salt Lake Tribune! Congrats Dug. Best part is when Dug says that Mormons voting would be problematic.

A way to donate to the elderly in need?

Hey y’all,

My amazing, beautiful, loving grandma just passed away yesterday at the age of 96. She was the best grandma to ever exist, in case anyone was wondering.

Anyway, she had home hospice for the last few months to help with personal needs, and we now have a large stack of medical- and personal-hygiene-type supplies that we’d like to gift to those who can use them.

I’d love to drop them off at a senior center or retirement center or something along those lines for people to be able to take what they need. The kind, sweet home health nurses said that Medicare has already been charged for them, so they can’t take them back and use them with other patients or they’d be charged with Medicare fraud. Let’s not get those wonderful women into trouble, lol.

What is the best way to do this? Any ideas of how to reach the elderly who could genuinely use these items?

I’m also open to dropping them off at one person’s house if they would be willing to take them all.

I’m also also open to dropping them off at a church if there’s a church in the area that’s well known for helping seniors. (I’m not religious, but I just care about these supplies being used to support the most people.)

I’m also also also open to donating them to a nonprofit that serves the elderly.

I just want them to be used, and I don’t really want them to be sold; I want people to get them for free if possible. If that absolutely isn’t an option, I’ll donate to a thrift store where they’ll be sold for cheap.

I’m willing to drive to Lewiston or Pullman; I’d prefer Moscow but I’ll drive to do a donation to the right place.

Thanks, fellow Muscovites 💙💙

Reminder to everyone to avoid the white Christofascist cult-sponsored parade in Downtown Moscow this Saturday. Don't give them the attention they want so bad.

Go hang out instead at the 4th of July Picnic at East City Park from 1-4pm. That's where all the cool folks will be.

Fishing on the 4th

Hey everyone! I'm hoping to find a good spot to go fishing this weekend, ideally within 2 hours of Moscow. Does anyone have any recommendations for places that are usually less crowded? I'm open to lakes or rivers, as long as the fishing is decent. Thanks in advance for any tips

I was also hoping the spot would be good for fireworks since I plan to go more towards the 4th of July

Block party 6/24

Anonymous account- I only lurk on my main account.

Does anyone know what the block party tomorrow is? My boss said she believed it was a NIAC event- but given tomorrow is the anniversary of the overturning of Roe v Wade- I’m not convinced.

Can someone confirm it is or isn’t a cult event?

Thanks ⭐️

Does anyone want free baking ingredients? If not, where can I donate these?

I have about 20 pounds of chia seeds, 35 pounds of pea protein isolate flour, and 16 pounds of cocoa powder. All are recent purchases and have a best before dates extending into late 2027 or early 2028.

I have the chia and pea flour stored in food-grade 25 pound plastic bins. Well, the pea protein isolate flour is partially in the bin and partially in its original bag. The cacao powder is all in sealed original bags.

Does anyone want them? If not, where can I donate them?
