another update!

hey guys here’s another little update for you all. i’ve now had my first 4 doses of 2.5mg and here are my thoughts…

it’s still harder that what i thought. i thought mounjaro would be “an easy way” to lose weight. i was so wrong. yes it perhaps makes it slightly easier but the discipline and portion control that needs to follow is all down to you. there have been days i wanted to give up. there were days when i probably overate, but most days i was consistent and healthy. that’s the differences between being in Mj and not, there is much more consistency to my diet.

but anyway, my SW was 196lbs, and im now down to 188lbs, so an 8lb loss so far. nothing crazy but it’s definitely a healthy weight loss. i was expecting impossible things when i started and ive now realised that it is what i make it, its not magic.

onto 5mg now so we will see how i get on! :) thanks for the support guys!

first 2 photos are my first week, and the last 2 are today :) i don’t think i can see any difference yet but we will see.

2 week update!

Hey guys, someone asked on my other post to do an update so I thought I would!

Currently on 2.5mg for the past 2 weeks.
I've lost 6lbs so far so I'm down to 190lbs! To be honest I was a bit deflated to only see 6lbs but I've realised that it's actually quite a lot and I am really happy.

I've started going to the gym 3x a week doing cardio and weights which is hard but fun.

I've had a few gastro side effects but nothing too bad luckily. Going to 5mg when this pen finishes :)

First day on Mounjaro!

hey everyone, so today i took the plunge and took my first dose of 2.5mg. Feeling pretty nervous but intrigued to see how this medication will help me reach my goals.

I have struggled with my weight all my life and it’s something i never go a couple hours without thinking about. I struggle with overeating in the evenings and i’m really hoping it will help with that.

My starting weight is 196lbs (89kg).
My goal weight is 140lbs (63.5kg).
But i would be happy at 155lbs (70kg).

Excited to start the journey and if you have any tips then let me know. :)
