Easiest way to alter this skirt? Lol
This lehenga skirt was ordered from India and as you can see is way too big for me around the waist (let’s ignore the length for now!)
The outer fabric looks to be one piece that has been pleated to fit the waistband and the only seam is at the back.
The lining has side seams.
There is a zipper at the back of the skirt and a drawstring. Pulling the drawstring in makes the waistband look very unflattering.
Can anyone think of any ingenious ways to fix this skirt without making it into a big job!? Unfortunately I don’t have long to work on this…
