How much time off for Botox?

Hi, for those who have gotten the Botox via operation (not injected from outside), how much time would you say you need to recover at a minimum? I work for myself so i will not get paid anything and would like to take the least amount of time possible. I work from home but do a good amount of talking in my job.

Safe to go on vaca 5-6 weeks after Botox injection?

My husband and I are trying to go to an all inclusive resort where we will be eating and drinking the whole time. I would like to go after the procedure because usually when I drink all day, by the time dinner comes I’m very bloated and have that need to burp but can’t feeling with the annoying gurgles sometimes. But if we go after the only time is around 5-6 maybeee 7 weeks after my operation. And as much as I don’t want to deal with no burp symptoms, the slow swallow and regurgitation symptoms that people sometimes get after sound even worse to deal with at an all inclusive resort.

So from those that had the Botox by surgery injection, how long did the slow swallow keep you from eating mostly normally? And how many units of Botox did you get?

Also did you have or not have regurgitation and how long was it an issue? Does it actually come OUT of your mouth or it stays in throat pretty much?

Any other side effects that might last a long time and not be good on vacation? Thanks!

Anyone gotten Botox and regretted it?

Has anyone gotten the treatment and for whatever reason wished you didn’t? If so, please share why.

Getting rcpd Botox done…

Hey, I am going to be getting the surgery for the Botox injection done in the next couple months. I am very excited because I can barely burp and never burp when I really need to - like after drinking beer. BUT I am also very nervous because I’ve never gone under anesthesia before and it’s one of my worst fears. Also worried about how sore my throat will be after and if swallowing is hard. My Dr said the way he does it, is he puts a tube down your throat to open it and then he can inject directly into the muscle so it really shouldn’t make slow swallowing an issue. But want to hear others experience with the procedure and how you felt after!!
