Some people recommend to put it in bridge mode and use a router as this model does not work very well in Wifi Mode.
What is your experience with the CODA-5610Q modem on WiFi mode? How about the other model, the the CODA-4680, is it any better on Wifi mode?
Do you connect the router ethernet cable to the Fizz modem yellow entries (there are 2 of them), or to the orange entry? Or does it make a difference? Thank you.
Have 500Mbps/50Mbps internet plan. Works fine with Fizz modem and Wifi activated.
However, as soon as I activate bridge mode to use my own router, my download speed decreases by 50%, so I get 245Mbps download, upload remains the same at 50 Mbps. Any ideas why? Thank you.

I believe Fizz had a similar promotion not too long ago. Would they match Ebox's promotion for a new Fizz internet customer?

If I cancel Videotron internet and activate Fizz internet, will I be receiving 2 separate signals to my house through the coax cable? Meaning one from Fizz for my internet and one from Videotron for my 3 TVs?

Hello, don't yet have Fizz internet but would like to first please confirm the URLs to access Fizz Wi-Fi modem VS my own router:
Fizz Fizz Wi-Fi modem: 192.168.0.1
My own router (Netgear): 192.168.1.1
Is this correct? So I would have access to 2 routers, but would first disable Bridge mode in Fizz Wi-Fi modem to deactivate Fizz modem WiFi and avoid any conflicts with my own router?
If I use my own router, once I change my Videotron modem to Fizz Wi-Fi modem, would I need to reconfigure all connections and passwords (Example: my wifi cameras, my Firestick, my laptop, etc.), or can I just continue using s normal, as I am just changing the modem? Also, my router is Wifi5 while Fizz would be Wifi6, would there be an issue in me using my own router?
