Yoga Pro 9i Gen 11 already not sitting flat

I recently picked up the newest Yoga a couple of weeks ago and have seriously loved this thing (besides the battery life). It could really do everything I wanted it to, until this morning when I placed the laptop on a flat surface and noticed one corner would lift up. I looked at it head-on and realized the laptop already seems uneven or slightly bent.

I've been very careful with this laptop, which is why I’m confused about what could have caused it. My only guess is that it could possibly be a thermal issue since I have been gaming on it quite a bit, although I’m not sure. Luckily I have a good warranty and can send it in for repair, but it’s still frustrating having to do that this early into its lifespan.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so, is this still a laptop worth keeping? I’m planning on using it for college in a few months.

Yoga Pro 9i (Gen 11) with RTX 5070 12gb?

I'm looking for a college laptop and have stumbled across the newest version of the Yoga Pro 9i. I have the available budget for the laptop, so money is not an issue, but every single review I've seen for this thing has talked about only having access to the 5060 version, whilst the 5070 12gb one will come out later this year. I'm in America like all of these reviewers, and when I try upgrading the laptops ram on lenovo's website, viewing the specs again shows me that I automatically pay extra for the 5070 12gb version right after choosing to increase the amount of ram on the system. I'm just wondering if this is available or not since this is my first time buying a laptop and would much rather have the upgraded gpu if it's available, thank you!

Need Help Buying a Laptop for CE with a $4000 Budget

Hello! Recently my grandparents let me know they would get me a laptop for college with a $4000 budget so I can major in CE. I know literally nothing about laptops, or how I can get the most out of this budget, as I would like to keep the laptop for many years.

I would really rather not get a gaming branded laptop as I heard they get loud and hot fast but would like to casually play games in my free time as well. My grandpa also only trust brands like HP, Dell, and Lenovo (I could convince him of other brands if they are trustworthy). He recommends at least getting a nvidia gpu, 32+ gb ddr5 (or something equivalent), and a terabyte of storage.

I have been looking for myself but also want to max out this thing as much as I can like I said before. If anyone has any recommendations, thank you!

Hello! I'm having a really hard time deciding where to go to school, and wanting to go into one the most impacted majors, computer engineering, is making this way harder than I thought. Currently my top choice school is currently UC Davis, which I got into the school of engineering for Computer Science (and I plan to switch if possible). I don't really need to worry about finances, but I worked hard in high school and even though I know UC Davis is a really good school, I just don't know if its the best engineering school for me personally. That is why I really can't decide if I want to take a risk by going to CC (specifically Santa Monica College) and hopefully transferring to a better school for engineering, or committing to Davis and having that college experience that my Dad really wants me to have. I haven't heard enough from people that have transferred from Davis or have dropped out from Davis to go to CC for their second year then transferring to another four year.

Has anyone else had a dilemma like this where they knew they could do better but don't know if its worth taking the risk?
