You connect him and Peter through Feast, as they have become close friends in a big brother/mentor kind of dynamic. Miles would be late teens while Peter is late 20s. Visions Academy is a college in this setting rather than a high school.
Spider-Man and Prowler already know of each other, but neither knows the other is Peter or Miles.
A Prowler job goes bad while infiltrating a research facility, and he gets bitten by a spider that gives him his powers.
Peter notices this change at work (spider sense and stuff), which starts the connection to the mantle. As well as Peter and Miles finding out they are both in the cape business.
Introduce Martin Li, the owner of Feast, who serves as the catalyst that pushes Miles to put down the Prowler suit as a back-alley vigilante and become a symbol of hope with the help of Peter, as the city goes into chaos because of Mr Negative.
MCU Miles would be a combination of Insomniac and both versions of spider-verse miles.
This movie won't be about finding out if he has what it takes to be a hero; it will be about stepping into the light as a symbol of hope and embracing a new way to help the people around him after he had carried his uncle's legacy into the shadows for so long. (He became prowler at 16, and he is currently 19)

The base use at 0 kills is the same, but portaling back with fresh kills that stack 1,2,3 etc will refund the cooldown of your base abilities.
So, it ends up rewarding panthers that can kill with their base abilities, with a reset that lets them reposition and re-engage.
So if you kill a jeff and a mantis, when you portal back all your current cooldowns get refunded by 4 seconds.
If you kill 3 people and portal your cool downs get reduced 6 seconds
if you kill 4 people and portal your cool downs get reset 8 seconds etc.
And the kill storage not only resets on every portal but stacks if you dont portal. So you can stock pile 5 kills for a full reset on all your abilities for a later situation etc.
So you can engage, blow all your cooldowns, magik portal, and have everything back again because you saved up the kills for the full 10 second refund.
And it only stocks up kills when it is off cooldown. so for those 30 seconds its recharging you cant farm kills to have the cooldown back up instantly
