about 5 minutes ago near London road. Anyone else hear it? I was inside and heard a loud thud clear as day. few neighbours went out to investigate with flashlights.

I want to make a rigid hat box for full brim hats. Is this something I could do with more firm leather? Or is this more of an interlay ordeal? ideally looking at 18” diameter.
