This is what the cable to the Netradyne camera looks like. It is usually under the dash where the rest of the cabling is. Sometimes they are locked together with zip ties or superglue. Zip ties can be easily cut with a pocket knife and superglue can be dissolved with nail polish remover. If they are disconnected it is best it happens before the van is ever turned on so the camera never turns on at all. If the van is on it is best before the van ever moves or any time when the second light on the camera is red, meaning it is not recording video. Also make sure it is reconnected at the end of your shift after you park the van and turn the engine off.
Disconnect at your own risk though. If you get in an accident regardless of fault or you get pulled over for a ticket or your van gets robbed or any other thing the camera is needed for liability-wise, you are automatically at fault in Amazon's eyes regardless of the circumstances since you never reported the camera as not functioning correctly in the DVIC.
So if you believe that risk is worth it for the additional freedoms it provides you when doing your route, thats your choice.
I thought the buy 1 get 1 for a dollar deal was such a good deal but it was just a full on lie. Also this plainly reveals they could absolutely price their food much lower and they just chose not to for better profits at the expense of our wallets.
