My solution for leaking gaz tanks

I wanted to share the solution I came up with to prevent my gaz tank to crack from Vibrations.

It takes 2 mounting hardware kits but I think at this point we all have more than one. I placed another holding bracket under the one on the photos

The Idea is to spread the load on the tank a little more an put the stress on the stud directly instead to put it on the cheap spotweld that hold the stud.

So far its been 5 months with this setup and I don't think it will leak or crack for a while.

Do you have other tricks? I'm curious to see your fixes or work around

Assembly lube or just oil?

I'am preping my 3rd build and assembling the engine (Avenger 85) I was curious if you guys used assembly lube or just straight oil for the crank/ Rod bearings and cylinder walls.

I, usually use the permatex assembly lube on my cars engines for years. It says that its good for 2 and 4 strokes engines. but I have doubts.

I wanted to know your thaughts on that. It is hard to find non AI documentation on the subject

Thumb Throttle feedcack

Hi, I just got in the huby this spring, and I'am looking to upgrade my thottle handle.

I came across a thumb throttle lever that could work, I want to have some feedback from the ones here that are using it, is it better or should I just buy a cnc handle throttle instead?
