Keppra and stopping

Family member has been on Keppra and Depakote for about a month and a half for seizures. Having anger outbursts, sleep issues, and changes in personality. Neurologist today said stop the Keppra now and no need to wean. The dose is 250mg a day.
Has anyone else been told to stop cold turkey and didn’t have issues from it? Worried about returning seizures. Dr said it’s a low dose and hasn’t been on it long so it should be okay and to just watch for seizures.

Migraines back after 20 years

**Update: dr said I have to stop estradiol patch and progesterone immediately due to increased stroke risk (migraines with aura and recent cotton wool spot on eye). Continuing with E cream and T cream.
There goes my great sleep and good mood. 😞

I’ve been on HRT over a year. .0375 estradiol patch, 100 mg progesterone pill, e cream and T cream. (After some readjusting). Haven’t had a migraine in over 20 years and I’ve now had one for a week. Including aura and feeling nauseous. I know I probably need to quit the patch and progesterone, but it’s so disappointing. My sleep, anxiety and moods have been much improved. Feeling defeated. One step forward, two steps back. 😞

Also, might be coincidence but my eyes especially the left one, have been twitching every day throughout the day for 3 months.

Rather than quit altogether, should I try to cut the patch down to 0.018 (cutting .075 patches into fourths) and still take the progesterone? Or just stop them both entirely? Doctor said in the past if I wanted to stop them there is no need to wean off them.

I kind of feel like it’s the progesterone causing the issue. I was on estradiol patch with Nexplanon for the progesterone and didn’t have migraines. It’s been at least 6 months since the Nexplanon was removed and I’ve been on the progesterone pill. The migraine first started back last week.

Excursions and weather cancellations

Traveling to Key West a week from tomorrow and staying for a week. As of now the weather looks rainy on some days. I have excursions booked for each day. Does rain in general cause cancellations or just storms? The excursions are sandbar, snorkeling, sunset sailing, kayaking, dolphin and shark watching and Dry Tortugas.
