Hanz De Fuko Claymation, but better?

So, over the past 6 months or so, I’ve tried a few different clays and pomades. And although I know it kinda gets hated on here, claymation easily gives me the best results. I have medium to fine, mostly straight hair, that also almost never gets oily. That said, I think that’s why claymation kinda works for me, since it adds some oils, without too much shine. My hairstyle itself is kinda just a messy mop top sort of look, so, do with that what you will.

Anyway though, I still feel like there could be an even better product out there for me. So, any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Here’s what else I’ve tried:
- Shear Revival Gray Ghost - probably my 2nd favorite, just a bit too much shine
- Shear Revival American Gardens - didn’t like this one much at all. Too tacky. Left my hair looking dry and stiff.
- Brickell clay - not bad, but not much hold.
- Malin + Goetz pomade - not bad actually, but you’ve got a use a ton of it to get any results.
- Reuzel Extreme hold (gray one) - this one wasn’t great. Like a worse version of American gardens and gray ghost. Crispy, bad texture.

So yeah, does anyone have any recommendations? I don’t mind sticking with claymation, but, if there’s something similar but better out there, I’d like to try it.

Thanks!
