Nothing crazy here just curious what do your lists typically look like? How many GDs, battleline, etc di you usually run? If any tournament players are able to answer or really anyone playing often at 2kpts I'd appreciate it.
11th edition flying units rule is VERY nice but now this begs the question with the addition of this rule in 11th if I can only fit one...Skarbrand or Bloodthirster?
I know skarbrand can absolutely erase something should it wound which is why in 10th I've taken big brand over BT. How do yall feel?
So I've been peeping at some high level tournament lists as well as local stuff and it seems battle suits besides riptides and stealth aren't really used. Could someone let me know why? Are they not consistent or reliable? Just curious because the suits are what brought me to tau.
So I started playing warhammer in February. I really only play against my friend group, though I'm starting to get interested in tournaments. Basically I've never lost. Played countless games vs tyranids, necrons, csm, raven guard, dark angels, Astra militarum and haven't dropped a game even on TTS. Afterwards more so specific guys in the group tell me how broken my army is and I don't understand how strong invuln saves are but rarely is it my saves that made me win in my opinion. Then they tell me the 3-4 GDs is too much and they hate monster mash playstyle all the while I see just that many in vehicles/monsters from them and the necrons has almost just as much invulns as I do with the list they play. Anyway, does anyone see us as broken?
