one of my favorite dances from season 7 (might honestly be my top 3 overall) is pretty reckless. it is overall such a beautiful dance from the costumes to the choreography and especially the music. we all know that the girls performed twice, one for the cameras and one for the judges, and i couldn’t help but notice while watching the episode that nia kinda messed up on a part of the dance. at 1:46 from the shows official streaming of the dance. when i first saw it, i thought it was interesting that she made a technical mistake like that, and in my head confirmed the whole, “her technique wasn’t up to par” conversation. for the record i think her performance in this dance was flawless and her acting was so amazing. i was so obsessed with the dance that i rewatched it many times, and came across a video that someone in the audience posted, and the mistake she made WASNT in that video, she had a perfect performance. it got me thinking why the producers would choose to put the clip of her messing up in the show, when they could have put her better performance out there. was it apart of their agenda or push this narrative?? ik a lot of you guys have a lot of bts info of producers and the things they used to do, so im just curious as to if this was one of their weird plot.
