Anyone know any pet sitters around town?

UPDATE: we have someone na. Thanks for your offers/recommendations. I’ll take note in case we need a sitter again.

Hi! We’re looking for a pet sitter who can come to our place 2x a day to feed our cats from Aug 7 (morning) to Aug 9 (evening).

Location: city proper

Responsibilities include:
Feeding 2 cats at 7AM and 6PM
Scooping litter box every morning
Making sure their water fountain is up and running
Making sure that the bigger cat isn’t stealing from the smaller cat’s bowl

If you’re interested or have any referrals, please let me know!

I already know of of hotels like Cynofritz and Tito Sab but I prefer leaving the cats at home as much as possible.

Practical Tips for Freshies

Welcome sa WVSU freshies! Can I give you some unsolicited advice that I hope someone had given me when I first entered college without any friends?

  1. Be friends with, or at least polite to the guards. They will remember you. And then you can leverage this friendship in emergency like nalipatan mo imo ID lol

  2. Mean energy is cringe. Wala ka sa movie. Be kind sa classmates. I was super friendly with a coop tindera once tapos gin gaan niya ko free coffee, legit.

  3. If you don't know how to start a conversation: Compliment a classmate's shirt or bag, ask what/when the next class is(maskin bal-an mo man), or find shared interests like music, movies, anime, Pokémon, or coffee.

  4. If there's a huge gap between classes, you will be tempted to leave campus and cut classes. Batu-i ang gahutik, don't do this. Show up to your classes. Most professors won't fail you as long as you keep showing up.

  5. Find a good circle. They will be your support system. Sila ang ma remind kun may assignment or may quiz. Tapos kung wala kamo assignment and fail sa quiz, at least ululupod kamo lol.

Pwede po ba mag bigay ng food sa nurses?

Good day po. God bless.

The “gatekeeping iloilo” joke/bit used to be fun, now it’s corny

I used to join in on those jokes telling tourists to enjoy Iloilo but not move permanently, mostly because I thought we all knew it was a joke. Like, who are we to tell people where they can live, as if we own the land?

Now it’s just corny and tired because people are actually taking it seriously. It used to be funny, now it just makes us sound arrogant.

(English ni para mabasahan sang taga iban kag lawlaw ko mag tagalog)

Karma After Mang Face Shame

“Us whenever we see chopped men” ang caption sang tiktok post nga ni. To those who arent familiar, “chopped” means pangit. Now another tiktok account called them out for this mean behavior and naka private na silang tatlo. Yes, they were in SB Southpoint. And the guy is confirmed to be a student/alumnus of San Ag.
