Learning gamedev by making a simple fishing game for fun. would love some feedback to help me improve!
I've been learning game dev in my spare time the last couple months by working on a small fishing game I thought would be fun. Still much work to do, but I honestly enjoy looking at all the places I can improve and get better.
Obviously visuals/UI/art isn't polished at all, but I wanted to see if I could get some feedback or ideas before I spend a lot of time polishing things that should be scrapped/changed.
I'm mainly wondering if anyone finds the gameplay loop interesting, upgrades and stuff, or if it just looks too repetitive and boring. Also appreciating feedback on artstyle and other visual stuff, I'm already planning to learn and do a lot there.
I'd really appreciate constructive feedback, as my goal with this is to find more things to work on and learn!
