Sad news for Waggysaggy fans

Man I can't believe they left her out of her group just like they did with Kanako and her group (time to wait for 10 plus years I guess)

Do you think more fans would play the official bullet hell games if Zun make the overall gameplay much accesible

(Source is from the new EoSD remaster/remake and yes I know it has a infinite lives mode to make it more accessible to lesser skilled players but still)

As you know Bullet Hell in general is a niche game genre due to its high level of difficulty which prevent many people from playing the games from it and Touhou is no exception to this

So basically what if instead of losing a life whenever you get hit by a projectile, you now have a health bar that deplete whenever you take damage and lose a life once it's fully depleted

And to balance it out, you no longer have continue once you lose all of your lives (and thus getting the bad ending), but however you'll always get the good ending if you beat the game regardless of how well you perform

That way more fans would actually play (and beat) the games without worrying about the immense difficulty plus the gameplay would also be more lore accurate

Obviously the usual lives and continues (and the mandatory 1CC to get the good ending) system can be an alternate game mode called Classic Mode or something to suit the more experienced players

Hypothetically, if EoSD was released in today's time as the latest touhou game instead of 2002 as the first windows era game, how popular would the cast of the game be

Basically the 2 main reasons as to why TH6 characters have such huge popularity are

1.) Being the first game in the Windows era give them a lot of time to develop a large fanbase and having said fanbase making contents revolve around them

(not to mention nostalgic factor)

2.) Its western themed setting and japanese people liking/making western inspired thing in general

So what if EoSD is instead the latest game in the series and how well would its characters (and OST) thrive among the fanbase nowadays

Let also assume that PCB is the first windows era game and other characters will fit in the roles of missing EoSD characters (in other contents they're in) just so we don't mess up lore and stuff like that
