Ww1 western front diorama for an AP Euro final project.

Whole diorama is still very much a work in progress, still need explosions, dead peeps, layered mud textures, resin puddles, etc.

However I completely forgot to form this side of the diorama into a trench, and due to an earlier issue I had to seal everything with a wood glue crust early.
Any ideas on what I can do to maintain the dioramas while look without digging into anything on this side? (the mud and ground and everything is rock hard. I cannot dig through it or push anything into it). I only have three or four more toy soldiers I could use for it, but I would much prefer to put those troops in the main charge.

Ideas?

Was making diorama and mold is everywhere. What can I do???

Finishing up this school project and noticed this today. Can I save it? I see people say to bake the dirt so this doesn’t happen, but what can I do now?
